By growing some of our own herbs onsite, we are able to reduce our carbon footprint and minimize the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals.
Our rooms and dining outlets utilize a thoughtful selection of eco-friendly alternatives to our amenities, meticulously curated to minimize our environmental footprint.
We have also established our own bottling plant, located within the premises of the hotel. This facility allows us to produce our own high-quality bottled water, which is then provided to guests in our guestrooms and throughout the property.
By having our own bottling plant, we significantly reduce the environmental impact associated with single-use plastic bottles. Our water bottles are made from eco-friendly materials and are designed for reuse, helping to minimize waste and promote a circular economy.
We have partnered with Winnow Solutions to implement an innovative food waste management system to reduce excess waste and lessen our carbon footprint.
We’ve also joined forces with Scholars of Sustenance (SoS), a remarkable food rescue foundation, that helps us ensure that quality surplus food does not go to waste and is redirected to those in need, simultaneously combating hunger and reducing environmental impact.
Guests may opt to reuse their linens and towels during their stay. They may simply let our staff know, and we’ll ensure they are fresh and ready for their next use without unnecessary laundering.
Water is also reused in watering our lush greens around the hotel. By repurposing water in this way, we minimize waste and maximize resource efficiency.
Beyond our commitment to environmental sustainability, Sofitel Manila is deeply invested in supporting the surrounding community.
